Reading in Pod 10

In pod 10 we are learning to do reciprocal reading,  reciprocal reading is when you work as a team to read a book.  There are different jobs: The Boss, The Clarifier, The Predictor, The Summariser, The Questioner. 

 


 We have also been practicing reading to self.

      Mrs Posthumus - we loved that you made a comment on our blog. The children were very excited. We are still learning about Reciprocal Reading and no doubt will become experts at it very soon.

    Reciprocal reading is an amazing tool to help you to think more about the text. Isn't it nice to be in charge of different roles within the group. I wonder which role Pod 10 students enjoy the most?
